Here is a short story about a young woman living in Hawai'i, who struggles to find her kuleana (calling), taking place in the future where the climate crisis is being properly addressed. It is set lifetimes from now and shows a path to a sustainable and equitable future. She is helped greatly by her grandmother and partner. Here we witness a decolonized future rooted in hope and justice, where mindsets shift towards a positive relationship with nature and others.
