My name is Morris Ngaruiya, a youth leader from Maragua, Muranga County, Kenya. I am a climate artist as well as an activist who is a member of various climate youth movements such as FFF MAPA and Catholic Youth Network for Environmental Sustainability in Africa. I am a board member of the 2022 initiative foundation which helped plan the Stockholm +50.

I wrote the song fresh and clean to sensitize the youths on the need to keep the environment fresh and clean and to also contextualize the ideas that are discussed in boardrooms into something fun the youth can listen to and engage thus changing the world from within. I have been able to perform on various platforms such as the youth Environment assembly in Nairobi as well as the closing ceremony of the youth Assembly in Sweden. I am passionate about climate art and I would like to be part of this project as it will be a win for the artistic community and the world.
